When you are alone with nothing to do, take out a pencil and a sheet of paper and write. It's not hard at all. Just think of a funny subject, like a rabbit who thinks he is a dog and one day he is eaten by a dog.

Well, maybe not.

I know, write about a man who falls into a deep hole and meets some worm people.

Or think of yourself as a potato and write about yourself. How many eyes do you have? Who are your friends? Do you have a fantasy of being mashed in the same bowl as Tom Potato Selleck or Elizabeth Potato Taylor?

Anyway, it's fun to do and maybe someday you'll be a famous writer like John Irving or Edith Wharton. Then you can say that I, Blizzard Skies, helped you become one.

Here's another idea to write about... elephants raised by sparrows as their own.

Well, maybe not.
